I took these photos partly as a record prior to the start of “The Big Interior Refit 2004/05” and partly to let other Hurley owners (and anyone else interested) see details of Silkie’s layout.

Looking for’ard from the companionway.
Note the mast support post which I installed last winter. Don’t note liberal use of gaffer tape on the berth cushions.

Looking aft from the chain locker.
It isn’t always as tiddly as this.

The saloon table in place. It’s the largest fold-down locker lid from the starboard side. It has an alternative position (though I haven’t photographed it) where it can be used as a chart table on the starboard side.

Starboard quarter berth. The wee shelves added against the hull don’t get in the way and are very handy for all sorts of bits and pieces. The fire blanket is a dang nuisance since the crew almost always wakes up on top of it in the morning.

Port quarter berth - what can I say?
Isn’t the dolphin cute?!
